FedICT

Posted by Frank Cornelis on September 26, 2009

As eID Architect at FedICT I'm always looking for new ways to increase the adoption of the Belgian eID Card. As Steve Ballmer once exclaimed "developers, developers, developers!" I also share the view that adoption of the Belgian eID Card starts with correct targeting of developers. Switching the FedICT eID software products over to an Open Source Software model is one of the ways in which I hope to achieve this goal. Via this website I'm trying to explicitly target web application developers. Of course, keeping in mind the existence of breed like project managers et cetera, I'll try to keep the articles as generic as possible.

This website will guide you through all presently available products and services in our portfolio in a no-nonsense fashion to help you make better decisions on how to integrate the eID card into your applications. We will regularly update this website to reflect the eID state-of-the-art. So stay tuned.
